The R58 is based on the Louisville conversion P72. It has a small knob and a long thin handle and neck with a medium sized barrel. There is not a lot of mass to this model but it tends to a bit end loaded by design. Derek Jeter has championed this model since 1995. We recommend this model for more seasoned wood bat users because of its end loaded feel.
